How do I know how much it will be to post my books?

The Shipping page shows default postage costs which cover over 90% of our books, but individual items can for reasons of size, weight or value need this to be adjusted to suit. To find out the cost of shipping such a book or perhaps the combined charge for sending more than one book please email or telephone for an individual quotation.  (look4abook.com   or   +44 (0)1761 452178)

I'm worried about entering my Credit Card details online - is it safe?

Yes.  When the time comes for you to enter these important financial details we offer you several completely safe ways of doing it.
1.         Credit or Debit cards       We use PROTX for all card transactions. This is the totally secure card processing agency used by nearly all major Internet Companies. You will be transferred to the PROTX maximum security site so that you can fill in your private financial details and subsequently returned to our site to complete any remaining details of your purchase. At no time does Look4abook staff (or anyone else) have access to your private financial data.
2.         Google Checkout        You will be transferred to GOOGLE’S maximum security site to fill in this information. GOOGLE will take your payment details on their very safe site, and then return you to our site to complete any remaining details of your purchase. At no time does Look4abook staff (or anyone else) access to your private financial data.
3.         Paypal       You will be transferred to Paypal’s maximum security site to fill in this information. Paypal will take your payment details on their very safe site, and then return you to our site to complete any remaining details of your purchase. At no time does Look4abook staff (or anyone else) access to your private financial data.
4.         Telephone Purchase     Look4abook staff never have access to your private financial information unless you choose to offer it to us over the telephone. In this case we use it for your order and dispose of it immediately afterwards. It is against the law for us to retain it.  We use the latest SSL technology on our website to make sure you're credit card details are kept safe and secure whilst in our hands.
5.         Email Purchase   Not recommended under any circumstances as no information is secure when sent by email.  We most strongly recommend that you use email or any other communication method just to confirm the details of the transaction and then use methods 1, 2 or 3 above to complete the purchase.  We will hold the book in your name for a short if you wish while whilst you follow this safe route.

I've not received my order - who do I contact?

If you have received our emailed confirmation of posting we need to wait at least fifteen days before we can approach the GPO about non arrival.  Look4abook keeps a record of each package we post.  You should be sure that your delivery man has not left you a note saying he could not deliver – your local Post Office is the first place to start your search as they keep a record of non deliveries.
If they can't resolve your issue, or you can't get in touch, please contact us and we will try to resolve your problems.
